Miniature cereal bowl tutorial

Hey friends, I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted on this blog, but I promise that is going to change! I’ve been busy in the last 5 years - I graduated from university, got a part time job and after 2 years out of uni, have decided to go back and start my MA. I’ve certainly lived up to my nickname of busy bee!!

Whilst I’ve been away, I also made some new videos. I only just got around to editing them because my computer died. Eventually, I made the decision to actually “downsize” to an iPad. I went for this because of it’d portability and it means I can use my desk to craft on now!

One of the first videos I want to show you is this miniature cereal bowl tutorial. I’ve been requested to make this video for a while now, so I thought I’d finally make it!

Charm Update #21 - Tinycorns, Tinybears + more!

Hey everyone,
I'm sorry I keep forgetting that I have this blog!! I'll try to keep posting more often now. So here is my recent charm update.. I upload to my YouTube every Saturday now (starting this week...). I had a few troubles with uploading videos recently, that's why it's taken me so long to upload one, I have no idea why but hopefully it's sorted itself out now. Also, I've been busy crafting things for and decorating my new art & craft shed! (I'll do a post on this later).

Etsy shop vacation, Australia trip

Hey everyone,

So some news (probably not to some that I keep telling haha) I've shut my Etsy shop for a little while whilst I'm on holiday in Australia for 3 weeks! I'm so excited, I fly next week. It's a 7 hour flight to Dubai where I take a little stop and swap planes and then its a long 13 hour flight to Australia. I have to say I'm dreading the long haul flight but it will be totally worth it to see such a beautiful place. :) I'll hopefully be blogging my travels on here as I go along.

✨ Galaxy Star Necklaces! ✨

I recently purchased some Pearl-ex powders and I wanted to use them to create some galaxy themed products! So, I made these galaxy stars!

There are 7 available, although I feel like keeping one for myself haha. They will all come with a necklace chain & jump ring, I just didn’t see the point in showing them all with one. I love the shine the pearl-ex powders give the clay, its so sparkly!! 

I’ve been super busy these past few days making some cute charms for Valentines and Easter and I’ll be uploading those later today.

Kawaii Carrot Necklaces!

I made two of these little guys, I really enjoyed making them 😊. I've been waiting for it to be a little bit brighter outside so I can take some photographs of the new products 😅! I'm going to make some more products today as this week is like the calm before the storm 😂. I might not get chance after this week. I posted this on my Instagram yesterday, I just had to share it here!

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Necklace

This is also a necklace that I made a year or two ago. I still need to list these on my Etsy! I just haven't had much time 😅

I've been photographing the products and I also went out and bought some new exciting things to make things for my shop so I'll share those with you when they're made 😁! So glad I'm not back at uni yet until next week Sunday, I do miss my friends though 😢. Hope you had a good first day back at work/school!

I start packing today to go back to uni 😓 I want to go and see my best mates and etc but I am gonna miss home!! 

On the plus side, I get to make some really cute polymer clay items again, yay!

Recent resin pieces ✨

Hey everyone, it's Laura from Tiny Treats here! 

Just thought I'd share with you the little resin pieces I've been making recently whilst I've been at home since its where I keep my resin (too messy for my flat 😂) 

I used Pebeo Gedeo Crystal Resin - it's a little different to Easy Cast as you use two parts resin to one part hardener. 

It still takes 24hours to dry but seems to take a while to get tacky, I don't know if that's just the way it happens for me or if it's the norm. 

Anyway, I made these resin pieces and I just love how they turned out, the colours /glitters are just stunning when the resin is put on top - they really seem to pop out and explode in colour 😊. 

I hope you like them, I'll be doming the rest of them today and most likely make some more pieces with the rest of the resin. Thanks for stopping by! - Laura

This little pack of crayons was a remake from years and years ago when I made it for the first time! It's a lot cuter now 😂 and neater. As you can tell, I like colourful things and I'm still on that rainbow rush 😁

Bunny Popsicle Necklace!

Today I'm posting this cute bunny Popsicle necklace that I made ages ago now. 

It's made with pink clay mixed with marble/granite clay- I thought it looked a bit like cookies n' cream at the time! 😅

Raspberry Chocolate Necklace!

I also made this a while ago but I'm still so proud of the way this little chocolate turned out! I love making them, they're so fun 😊

Just got back from a busy day out, catching up with a lovely friend of mine and having a shop, bought some more crafty things and I also have some coming in the post 😍 I'm so excited 😁😁 can't wait to use them.

Kawaii Cola Necklace

Cola drink necklace! 

I love how it's little face came out 😊 I also made Lemonade and Cherryade. I don't actually drink fizzy drinks because they make me quite ill! 

I hope to be re making some old charms when I get back to university (where my polymer clay is at 😩) with these kind of faces and making more "treats" as my shop is kinda supposed to be food based 😂. I'll still be making owls (I've made a new design for them which is super cute imo) so hopefully you will like them too. 😊
